特発性血小板減少性紫斑病（ITP）：幼若血小板比率（IPF）（４）より続く
IPFは、化学療法や造血幹細胞移植後の血小板回復予測にも有用です（下図）。

同種造血幹細胞移植における血小板回復（平均値）
(A) 骨髄移植(BMT)
(B) 末梢血幹細胞移植(PBSCT)
(C) 臍帯血移植(CBT)
いずれも血小板数回復に先行して、幼若血小板比率(IPF)が一過性に増加します（IPFサージ）。
幼若血小板絶対数数（absolute immature platelet count: AIPC）の回復は、血小板回復とほぼ一致します。
